Following his latest collaborative effort with London-based R&B artist Jupiter Grey entitled ‘Fading’, London- based Future Soul / Lo-Fi producer SUN/MGNETK presents his latest effort ‘Friday Night Text’. Combining steady-pulsed drums set to a mid-tempo 4×4 beat with lush synth pads and sweet R&B vocals, ‘Friday Night Text’ describes a scenario in which one receives a cheeky late-night text in an attempt to curb loneliness on a Friday night.

A mid-tempo 4×4 affair, SUN/MGNETK did indeed imbue the record with his signature sound: swung drums, underpinned by lush and jazzy synth chords and deep, thumping bass. A silky and sweet R&B-tinged vocal sits beautifully on top, tying the record together perfectly.
